Does Bower replace our existing ELN?
Bower plays well with existing ELNs. That said, many teams find that Bower covers everything an ELN does, plus ambient capture, AI guidance, and knowledge transfer that ELNs weren't designed for. We're AI-native, collaborative by default, and built around how science actually happens, not how it gets documented after the fact.
We don't have an ELN today. Is Bower right for us?

Where is our data stored?

Who owns the data, and is it used to train AI models?
Your organization owns all captured data. It is never used to train shared models. Structuring and AI assistance happen within your tenant, under your access controls. A full sub-processors list is published in the Trust Center.
Is Bower suitable for GMP and regulated environments?
Yes. Every capture is hash-chained at the moment it's recorded, producing a tamper-evident audit trail that regulators and auditors can rely on. Original media is preserved permanently alongside the structured record. HIPAA controls are available for workspaces handling patient data.
